Practice Analysis Working Body

Purpose

The Practice Analysis Working Body supports the Education Advisory Committee and practice analysis process by serving as a forum for surveys of current practice, reviewing proposed revisions to the Global Body of Investment Knowledge (GBIK®) and Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK®) related to CFA Institute credentialing programs (CFA® Program and CIPM® Program), and reviewing CFA Program and CIPM Program curriculum readings.

Members

  • Complete quarterly mini-surveys of industry trends and topics relevant to the CFA Program (estimated time commitment: 10-15 minutes).
  • Complete annual GBIK and CBOK surveys (estimated time commitment: 30-40 minutes).
  • Review curricula materials, such as learning outcome statements, readings, and study tools (estimated time commitment: 2-3 hours).

Members of the Working Body receive Professional Learning (PL) credits for their participation.
