CFA Institute Reports Results for CIPM® Testing in March
New York, 4 May 2023 – CFA Institute, the global association of investment professionals, announces today the results for the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM®) examinations administered during the period 16-31 March 2023.
Of 140 candidates who sat for the Level I CIPM examination in March, 27 percent have passed. Of 158 candidates who sat for the Level II CIPM examination in March, 34 percent have passed. Successful Level II candidates will receive their CIPM designation upon successful verification of professional experience and CFA Institute membership requirements. All candidates will be notified of their results today.

The CIPM learning experience deliveries practice-based approaches to develop skills for effective investment performance evaluation and manager selection. The CIPM Program curriculum is based on an advanced body of knowledge that is continually reviewed and updated by investment practitioners to ensure it comprehensively reflects the competencies needed to succeed in today’s financial industry.
To earn the CIPM designation, a candidate must pass two exams, become a member of CFA Institute, meet professional experience requirements, and maintain a minimum of 15 credits of continuing education annually. CFA® charterholders and candidates who have successfully completed Level III of the CFA Program may proceed directly to Level II of the CIPM Program.
