CFA Institute Reports Results for CIPM® Testing in September
CFA Institute, the global association of investment professionals, announces today the results for the Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement (CIPM®). Examinations were administered during the period 16-30 September 2023.
Of 171 candidates who sat for the Level I CIPM examination in September, 42 percent have passed. Of 125 candidates who sat for the Level II CIPM examination in September, 50 percent have passed. Successful Level II candidates will receive their CIPM designation upon successful verification of professional experience and CFA Institute membership requirements. All candidates will be notified of their results today.

The CIPM curriculum prepares candidates for effective investment performance evaluation, manager selection, and investment reporting based on the CFA Institute Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®).
To earn the CIPM designation, a candidate must pass two exams, become a member of CFA Institute, meet professional experience requirements, and maintain a minimum of 15 credits of continuing education annually. CFA® charterholders and candidates who have successfully completed Level III of the CFA Program may proceed directly to Level II of the CIPM Program.
