CFA Institute Reports Results for CFA Program Level I Testing in November
CFA Institute, the global association of investment professionals, announces that of 24,937 candidates worldwide who sat for the Level I CFA® Program exam in November 2022, 36 percent have passed. All candidates will be notified of their results today.

“My congratulations to everyone who has just passed the Level I CFA Exam. This is a really positive start to the new year and sends a clear signal to employers and future employers of your commitment to professional education and the highest standards of ethics.
“We are pleased to note that only four exam locations were disrupted by pandemic-related cancellations during the November exam series. Yet, unfortunately, disrupted study schedules brought about by prior exam deferrals and cancellations may have impacted results for some candidates again. Numerous candidates who sat for Level I in November had previously elected to defer their exams. As we have seen during this tumultuous period, these exam delays tend to result in lower pass rates vs. historical norms.”
Successful Level I candidates wishing to progress directly to CFA Level II studies may now register for the May 2023 examination registration. For candidates wishing to register for the August/September 2023 Level II examination sitting, an early bird discounted registration rate applies until 1 February 2023.
Candidates for the November Level I CFA Program exams attended in person at one of 539 proctored computer-based examination venues located in 363 cities in 100 markets worldwide. Exam Levels I and II were held during the November testing period. Level II results will be released to candidates on 19 January.
